Design Consultation
Our process together begins with a design and style consultation to choose colors, themes, props, outfits, and a location that fits your needs. We customize each session to meet your vision.

The Photo Session
The day of the photoshoot will be as stress-free for you as possible. I bring everything we need – really. Some sessions include hair and make-up services at your home.

Viewing and Ordering Appointment
About a week or two after the photo session, we have a viewing and ordering appointment where you will see the best photos from your session. You choose your favorites, select the perfect wall art or an album to display your images, and know digital images will be ready for download soon.

Delivery
Once your customized print products have arrived, I do a detailed quality check then personally deliver them to you. My job is to make this process easy for you by removing things from your to-do list. I am here to help.

Frequently Asked Questions

I bring lighting on location. While you rarely see other photographers doing this, using an off-camera flash is the key to getting you to look natural without any color casts in your skin tone from surrounding backgrounds and to make your eyes sparkle in every photo. It takes only a few extra minutes to get set-up, and the flash helps me control the angle and amount of light ensuring your images will be beautiful and true to color. It’s not like a flash on a phone or point and shoot camera, and you’ll agree is totally worth it when you see the outcome.

You will feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. We take time to get to know each other both during the planning process and while I am setting up at our session. Before you know it, a connection has been made and you are ready to make memories. Worried about your young children? I invite the kids to help me, so they feel involved and important. I have plenty of tricks to bring out natural smiles and lots of fun. Don’t worry about posing! My artistic eye and years of experience will make sure you all look visually pleasing in photos and each member of your family is comfortable.

It is super easy for you and takes up a relatively small space. You sit back and relax, finish getting your hair and make-up done, or even feed your baby while I get each prop, floor, wrap, backdrop, and lighting set-up and ready to go. It might look like a mess as we move through each newborn or maternity set design, but rest assured, I will clean up every bit of what I brought and more!
